In 2008 when I first moved to New York City, I quickly became aware of the unique needs of the daily commuter- specifically of my target customer- the social professional - who I regularly saw on the train with their laptop bags/ gym bags/ shopping bags/ luggage in tow, and appearing generally disheveled as they struggled to keep everything in their possession and make their way to their next destination. 

I have observed the anguish of a friend forgetting their laptop bag in a bar after a happy hour goes on a bit longer than expected… and hoping that the bar still has it the next morning.

I’ve also witnessed the hassle of having to cram shopping bags into the small space in front of a theater seat, it’s not pretty.

Over the years I’ve spoken to hundreds of people in various fields (finance, legal, accounting, PR, healthcare, etc…) living in the NYC metro area, and they have all expressed these same frustrations.  They simply need a place to put their things, change clothes, and relax for a moment without having to go home in between stops.

With EN SOLEIL they now have a solution

En Soleil will have the look and feel of a high end day spa, with the scalability of a WeWork. I’m excited to finally take the leap to provide this much needed service to my fellow New Yorkers! I am currently in the initial funding stage to open our first Manhattan location, and have identified other key transit hubs throughout the City where En Soleil would be a perfect fit.
